yes I agree that a lot of Filipinos are after the great oppurtunity abroad.. yet, everyone has their own reason for becoming a nurse.. Learning the true essence of being a nurse should be a wake up call for each and everyone of us.. yet, the decision would still be influenced by so many factors including our parents and the present status of living in the country.. despite that, I still believe that all the nursing student nowadays in the Philippines still carry the Real Filipino Heart regarding Nursing Profession..

The video serves as an inspiration to us nursing students, it simply shows that we Filipino nurses are locally and globally competitive, it only proves that what the other country can do we can do better in terms of rendering nursing care to our clients/patients.
I was really touched.. It looks like only Filipino nurses gives not only their heart and time in caring for clients but also their whole body and soul in caring to their clients.
There are many Filipino aspiring future nurses are striving their best but what is this for?
As of now, I really want to finish this course to pursue my dreams to at least give the gratitude to my mother who is working hard for me to pursue this course. I really wanted to become a successful nurse and take care of those clients who needs my help and my care..
on this video, it only proves that as of now, it is not easy to be called a "registered nurse" because we all know that we need to give our time, heart as well as the mind to be future nurses someday..
being a nurse is not an easy profession but it is a very noble!
its not about how much will you earn money but how can you touches the lives of those clients that will say, " Nurse, come back to me if you had a free time please?. It feels so good to be cared by you!"..
I rally salute all those FILIPINO NURSES!!! You my idol!!

tnx 4 the slideshow sir,. somehow it open our minds,.
The video gave me the courage to continue an exciting and rewarding profession. Before I look up this profession as only because it gains a lot of money, and the easiest way to go abroad. Now I realized that it is not the money and going abroad is in this profession but on how you will give your best to extend the lives of your clients, to give advices, to counsel them, to be a care provider, to be an educator and to be a knowledgeable and skilled about our chosen profession. This profession includes our heart in giving care to our clients not only for them but also for others that needs our services without any hesitations. The video shows us the real essence and importance of our chosen profession.
It's a nice and wonderful video... Nowadays, it’s a fact that students are taking up nursing because they want to go abroad and earn a lot of money but there are some who want to stay. But, we should respect everyone's decision! Through this video I realized that nursing is not easy but I believe that if you enjoy what you're doing, it will not be hard. Also, I enlighten my mind to study hard and become a registered nurse to help the needy. I want not only to widen my knowledge but also to have a good and caring heart for sick Filipinos.
Nice video sir.. I was really enlightened and impressed of how my chosen profession would bestow me plenty of opportunities to sincerely care and aid people who are in need. I am confident to convey a sense of responsibility without asking in return but make this world a better place to live with..
very inspiring video sir jp..Nursing is a very tough profession because LIFE ang pinaguusapan dito sa profession na to.Kaya we must do our best in caring for our clients, well hindi lang best ,dapat eh super duper ever very best (redundant pero it makes sense).actually nursing is my childhood dream but sometimes i really loose hope of fulfilling my dream because of trials like financial problems (i stop for 1 year,so dapat 4th year na ko..sayang!),and problems on time management..but inspite of those trials and challenges I must pursue in continuing this profession not because i want to go abroad and earn money BUT to really care for everybody..well, i can say that i already had an experience in caring a patient,,my first patient was my father..morning shift si ate then night shift ako..{my ate is also a graduate nurse sa lsc..hindi pa kasi siya r.n..hehe)..after attending my class last year sometimes i'm going straight sa lipa medix, dun kase siya nagdialysis...pero ngayon kasama na siya ni PAPA JESUS nung feb 16, 2008 lng,((he died sa kandungan ko kaya super cry ako....(sorry napakwento na..).by the way in watching this video i remembered what my father told to me and to my ate which is "tutulungan niyo ang lahat"..he also served as my inspiration in continuing this professsion no matter what problems will come, i know i can do it or shall i say WE can do it FILIPINO NURSES!!
hay sir.....sa totoo lang I don't want to be a nurse someday,,,but in my two year in this course,,,i already liking and a little bit loving this course.....nursing pala now a days even before is so important, i dont know why my parents want me to be a nurse....grabe,,,,it make me feel na great ako kasi sa nursing ang profession ko...thanks sa video sir...
i really love this video... we already know the reason y most of the filipino nurses are going to abroad, even though they will miss their love ones they still stay in other country in order for them to help their family here in Phils.
for me, its better to work here in our country because you still have chance to spend ur free time with your family... in the other hand the advantage of working in other country is u are satisfied in terms of salary..
i admire those filipino nurses who work in abroad and mostly who prefer to work here in our country, they inspire us to be better nurses someday...
i know that this is just a beginning and we need more time to accomplish our goals in life... it just will happen if we love caring other people and become brave enough to face our trials in life.... cause someday it will lead us to success..
It this day and age, many Filipinos think that nursing is a profession that many people pursue for the sake of earning money. But to others it is about rendering care to the needy ones.
The video made me realize that I've chosen the right path. Before, I don't know why I chose Nursing as my course maybe because of the influence of my family and friends and for the idea that nurses are in demand worldwide. But as time goes by, I've realized that I've chosen Nursing as my course because I want to help other people especially those who really need assistance and care.
I really admire those nurses that continuously doing their profession here in the Philippines and even in abroad. They worked harder just to give the quality care for their patients.
For me, being a nurse is not about how much money you'll earn working here and abroad but it is about the determination of oneself to render health care service to other people.

the video was so inspiring.. heartwarming.. every pictures shows emotion on caring, how happy they are to help people and everyone..
first i dont really like nursing. the white uniforms, blood, injection and the boknay.. i dont really see my self in nursing profession.. my mother with my tita elsa always convincing me to change my course. because nursing is in demand, high salary, and it is competitive and it also global..at fist i really said no. but when the time comes that my mother got sick, she had a mild stroke.. and sobrang sama ng loob ku nun.. ala akung mgawang 2long ke mama, pagaalaga.. it really hurts.. aku laging bantay sa hispital at kitakitang ko lhat ng pnagdaanan ni mama.. naicp ku.. guro tama nga na magnursing aku.. hndi dahil sa sweldo malaki o sa pagpunta ng ibang bansa.. pero my most priority kung bakit ko ginugus2 and nursing.. its for my mom.. and everyone in our family..
my comment on the article and video... the article is really nice and really happening in our society today...we cant deny the fact that many are taking nursing to have greater opportunities to have greater salaries and good life in other countries... filipino nurses are globally competetive but the salaries they are earning here in the philippines is not enough to have a better living... another thing is even who are already professional are also competeting to become one of the nurse especially doctors, filipino doctors are studying nursing because they will earn greater salary than being a doctor in the philippines... other factor affecting nurses today is even nursing cost high tuitions, parents are willing and sometimes forcing theis siblings to study nursing even it is not what they want because what they want is to become registered nurse then fly into other countries.. i can say that nursing is not anymore a client-centered caring profession because many are studying for opportunities in going abroad especially the first world countries... i hope some nurses realize that what really matters in nursing is public service because we filipinos also need profesional nurses... may all nurses serve all their clients with all their hearts.. thanks for the information making us realize all nursing aspect..
Herein the philippines we all know that almost of the licensed nurse are leaving our country because of the wage and more benefits that are given in other countries. When I watched the video I was inspired to study hard to become a registered nurse for all the Filipinos that need care.
The Nursing Profession Realy is A wide Realm worth discovering.. -Jumar Joseph A. Reyes
If there Is realy heaven on earth Nurses are indeed angels, not because we can fly or do miracles but instead we give hope for every person who needs our "TLC" tender love and care... Even though we don't do the curing, we contribute in the process healing... Though Filipino nurses Aims for a place beyond the boundaries of our country I still believe that there is a part somewhere in Our hearts that would want to go back in the place we call home(Philippines).
There is no Explaining How significant Nurses are to "clients, patients or anyone who needs medical attention" because we are there beside them through their healing process giving care with the best of quality we can... and boosting their confidence when they lose hope and Most of all Puting a smile On their Faces when they think that it is over and it is the end of it all... When doctors are not there,Nurses are...
yes I agree that a lot of Filipinos are after the great opportunity abroad.. yet, everyone has their own reason for becoming a nurse..
The video clip was great and the message is touching..
The video is very inspiring especially for the nursing students...i learned a lot and realized that it is not easy to be a nurse...maraming sacrifices ang kailangan harapin..
The Filipino nurses represents the face of an angel because all of us know that angels are always there beside us to guide and especially to protects us. like the angels, NURSES serve as protector, they are always besides the patient to give care.
the video shows that the nurses are really happy to serve and take care other people and how they love their work...
one problem ng country ngaun about nurses ay kakaunti na ang mga Filipino nurses na naglilingkod sa ating sariling bansa, marami na ang nag-aabroad dhil sa good benifits and high salary na offer ng ibang country...
The government should make a way to bring back the Filipino nurses here in our country to serve Filipino people...
it is an inspiring video for us nursing student. ngaun pa sa sobrang busy namin minsn naiicp namiin n mgquit na... napakita nito na iba tlga ang Filipino nurses.. kitang kita ang pagiging friendly ng mga overseas nurse s mga client nila they treat them as their own family members..and it means na binibigay tlga nila ang ang best nila para maalagaan ang mga ito.. our caring roles ika nga... we give our TLC to them... isa pa we saw in the video na dedicated sila s knlang trabaho.. it's because they insnpired by their family.. khit nahohome sick carry lang..
nursing is not only a profession but also a call....
touching and inspiring po yung video....i've learn a lot...being a nurse is not quite easy, before kaya lang ako ng nursing for the high salary, its not like that pala, nurses are very important in our society, because we are promoting care,as a filipino nurses, maraming mga countries ang nagaagawan because well trained sila, not also that marunong sila makibagy sa mga cliet nila, and they treat their cliet as like kamag anak......dapat in this profession, ung role of caring is present and also dedicated with all your heart.with TLC .....
wow,dat video was so nice, sovrng nkktouch,nd mdaling mging nurse u hav 2 stdy hard 4 u 2 b a profesional nurse...astig tlga ang mga filipino nurse pg dating sa service..quality tlga..proud aq s knila..hope mgng nurse dn aq somday not just 2 ern money.xrap ng nkk2long...go filipino nurse's....
The video empowers Filipino Nurses nowadays. Basically, it shows that we Filipinos can do it and be in the same level like other foreign countries. We just need to believe in ourselves, strive hard and do the best that we can. Filipino Nurses are known for one of the best care there is, the smiles on our client's faces proves it all.
This video was very inspiring!!!Now I realized how important nurses are!! And I'm very proud that I will soon be a nurse too.. It was so inspiring that it make me realize that eventhough it is studying nursing is difficult, I will make my best to finish it, and be an angel like them to those who are in need...
...the video touched my heart!! i admire my brother who is working abroad as a nurse.tears are in my eyes while watching the video and made me realized that i will continue to travel in a rocky road to success as a nurse, just to follow the path of my brother and some other nurses here and abroad who are giving their unselfish service to people!!...thank you sir!!! bravo!
The video was nice and inspiring to all the nurses in the Philippines. They realize that how important to being nurse and to help, love and especially care the patient/client.We all that studying nursing is very hard but if you have graduated, take the board exam and have a license of a being a nurse "masarap sa pakiramdam at natapos n ang lahat ng paghihirap.pero ang una mong priority ang gampanan mo ang pagiging nurse at ipakita ang pagmamahal, pag alaga sa pasyente."
wow!!! this video filled my heart with eagerness to serve other people. i really admire the Filipino nurses. this video will serve as one of my inspiration. it feels good to see nurses on this video. they are truly angels that gives us hope and light to darkness. thank you sir JP for this sharing it to us. it is an honor to be part of it.
nice video! while watching the video,I really feel the passion..It made me realize the worth of being a nurse! Its serves as an inspiration for me para ipagpatuloy ang nursing..

The video shows us the real essence and importance of our chosen profession.
tnx poh sa video kz nakakatouch xa....dami poh akong natutunan about nursing proffesion....
I'm proud to be a nurse!

wow,,very inspiring video sir,, it shows on how filipino nurses deal to their patient even though they encounter some conflicts they are still cool under pressure,,, this video can help those students who are not sure if they pursue nursing profession,,,
from the other people ive heard abroad... filipino nurses are one of the most caring people in existence. they have this magic touch that gives people courage and hope to be well in mind and body.
true to that video, some of the filipino taking up nursing is just after this great oppurtunity ahead of them abroad without thinking what is the real purpose of taking up nursing.
nursing is one of the most noble jobs. its just not a vocation but its how you put your heart into it by caring for everyone without anything in return, without hesitations who is in need of care.
during my hospital duty this summer... i had this great experience from my 3 clients. the experience i had with them was unforgettable... it cant be bought by money nor anything else in the world. im just a student nurse, but a student nurse who happened to gave the best care that i can give for my patients with an undying thank you and priceless smiles from their faces that i got from them in return was unmeasureable, irreplaceable, and heart warming. it was a great lesson and experience for me. it gave me more inspiration to strive more and do my very very very best to be a fully pledged nurse someday.
looking back from our mentors in nursing was already a lesson, they are just some of our unsung heroes. they gave their hearts in caring for other people, giving them hope to live and sharing the gift of life with no hesitations, regrets and limitations in order to give care and make a change in people's lives.
the video is an eye opening to all the nursing students to make them realize what is the real essence and importance of nursing.
nursing is just not merely caring for the sick but its the service that we give without hesitations in order for them to be well in mind, body and heart; to share the gift of life and the hope of living.
the video was so inspiring.. heartwarming.. every pictures shows emotion on caring, how happy they are to help people and everyone..
first i dont really like nursing. the white uniforms, blood, injection and the boknay.. i dont really see my self in nursing profession..
my mother with my tita elsa always convincing me to change my course. because nursing is in demand, high salary, and it is competitive and it also global..at fist i really said no. but when the time comes that my mother got sick, she had a mild stroke.. and sobrang sama ng loob ku nun.. ala akung mgawang 2long ke mama, pagaalaga.. it really hurts.. aku laging bantay sa hispital at kitakitang ko lhat ng pnagdaanan ni mama.. naicp ku.. guro tama nga na magnursing aku.. hndi dahil sa sweldo malaki o sa pagpunta ng ibang bansa.. pero my most priority kung bakit ko ginugus2 and nursing.. its for my mom.. and everyone in our family..

my comment on the article and video...
the article is really nice and really happening in our society today...we cant deny the fact that many are taking nursing to have greater opportunities to have greater salaries and good life in other countries...
filipino nurses are globally competetive but the salaries they are earning here in the philippines is not enough to have a better living...
another thing is even who are already professional are also competeting to become one of the nurse especially doctors, filipino doctors are studying nursing because they will earn greater salary than being a doctor in the philippines...
other factor affecting nurses today is even nursing cost high tuitions, parents are willing and sometimes forcing theis siblings to study nursing even it is not what they want because what they want is to become registered nurse then fly into other countries..
i can say that nursing is not anymore a client-centered caring profession because many are studying for opportunities in going abroad especially the first world countries...
i hope some nurses realize that what really matters in nursing is public service because we filipinos also need profesional nurses...
may all nurses serve all their clients with all their hearts..
thanks for the information making us realize all nursing aspect..

The government should make a way to bring back the Filipino nurses here in our country to serve Filipino people...
it is an inspiring video for us nursing student. ngaun pa sa sobrang busy namin minsn naiicp namiin n mgquit na... napakita nito na iba tlga ang Filipino nurses.. kitang kita ang pagiging friendly ng mga overseas nurse s mga client nila they treat them as their own family members..and it means na binibigay tlga nila ang ang best nila para maalagaan ang mga ito.. our caring roles ika nga... we give our TLC to them... isa pa we saw in the video na dedicated sila s knlang trabaho.. it's because they insnpired by their family.. khit nahohome sick carry lang..
nursing is not only a profession but also a call....
touching and inspiring po yung video....i've learn a lot...being a nurse is not quite easy, before kaya lang ako ng nursing for the high salary, its not like that pala, nurses are very important in our society, because we are promoting care,as a filipino nurses, maraming mga countries ang nagaagawan because well trained sila, not also that marunong sila makibagy sa mga cliet nila, and they treat their cliet as like kamag anak......dapat in this profession, ung role of caring is present and also dedicated with all your heart.with TLC
.....
wow,dat video was so nice, sovrng nkktouch,nd mdaling mging nurse u hav 2 stdy hard 4 u 2 b a profesional nurse...astig tlga ang mga filipino nurse pg dating sa service..quality tlga..proud aq s knila..hope mgng nurse dn aq somday not just 2 ern money.xrap ng nkk2long...go filipino nurse's....
The video was very inspiring.. i've learned alot. I really wanted to be a nurse. gO filipino nurses!
wow!!!
this video filled my heart with eagerness to serve other people. i really admire the Filipino nurses. this video will serve as one of my inspiration. it feels good to see nurses on this video. they are truly angels that gives us hope and light to darkness. thank you sir JP for this sharing it to us. it is an honor to be part of it.
nice video! while watching the video,I really feel the passion..It made me realize the worth of being a nurse! Its serves as an inspiration for me para ipagpatuloy ang nursing..
i really like the video.. there are so many things to learn, specially the sacrifices and the hardships that filipino nurses do with there jobs..
almost everyone sees students who takes nursing courses as a way going to abroad. yes, it is the easiest access to abroad and gain large amount of money. but they never thought about what is the real essence of being a nurse. specially, filipino nurses who are abroad. as a student nurse, who really likes to be a one i see nusring not as a "passport" to US of A. But a profession. Some student nurses confesses that they really took nursing for the sake of having a job abroad, but as the years goes by and as our lessons gets harder, they realize that nursing is no joke. And see now, they really like the course they are taking. They also realized that as a nurses TLC is really needed. they don't do their work as simply WORK. there are so many things that a nurse should consider specially giving care to their patients. Its not a meer of giving medications and etc but also giving your support, love and caring to your patience.
this video will be a wake up call to all those people who simply thinks that nursing is all about money. tnx for this video.
God Bless
